Rich Text Edit Control – Know All About the Feature-Rich Software

Character Formatting and Text Color: It allows for multiple point sizes and fonts within a document. The character style includes subscript, strikeout, italic, underline, bold, and superscript. The text can be written in multiple colors.

Input and Output Text Format: It supports the following file formats – DOC import, HTML format, DOCX format, Rich Text Format, Text Format.

Input and Output Source: The editor can accept data from a disk file or in a buffer. Likewise, the output can also be obtained in a disk file or buffer.

Application Programming Interface: The APIs allow you to insert or retrieve text and format attributes anywhere in the text window. In most cases, only a single API function is required to invoke the editor.

Block Highlighting: You can highlight the text using line highlighting or character highlighting functions.

Cut or Paste: The cut or paste to the clipboard is performed using the formats – Text format and Rich Text format.

Text and Picture Frames: The editor in the Page Mode allows frames to be moved and positioned anywhere on a page.

File and Buffer Size: The editor supports text files of unlimited size using Windows’ virtual memory capability.
